隆Hola! I am an Astrophysics and Planetary Sciences Ph.D. Candidate, and a first generation Afro-Latino college graduate.聽

I am concluding research on debris disk dynamics and their impact on the late stages of planet formation and habitability. Prior to my time here at CU, I received my Master's in Physics from Cal State LA, where my thesis explored protoplanetary disk gaps and their potential to estimate planet masses.聽

I am now transitioning to astronomy education research, to pursue a career in science museums/institutions, observatories, or planetariums. My research interests are science identity formation, development of engaging planetarium resources, and the effectiveness of informal learning environments. Additionally, I am committed to diversifying the field of astronomy through active participation in science outreach events such as stargazing talks, mini planetarium shows, and hikes in nature.聽

When I'm not exploring the cosmos, I enjoy whipping up delicious meals, catching live music and sporting events, and venturing into the majestic Rockies.
