  • ASTR 2100 Fundamental Concepts in Astrophysics
    • If you plan to take Calculus 3 (MATH 2400 or APPM 2350), then you should replace ASTR 2100 with an additional ASTR class (either upper division or lower division).听
    • Note: 听Some upper division ASTR courses require a prerequisite of Modern Physics (PHYS 2130 or PHYS 2170) or ASTR 2100. We recommend discussing the classes you are interested in with an ASTR advisor so you can plan accordingly. 听

Advanced Course Work (Minimum听of 3 Courses (9 credits minimum)):

Two courses from one upper-level course sequence:
  • Planetary Sequence: ASTR 3720 Planets & Their Atmospheres AND ASTR 3750 Planets, Moons, & Rings
    • OR
  • Astrophysics Sequence: ASTR 3730 Stellar & Interstellar; ASTR 3830 Galactic & Extragalactic
