The Colorado Advantage Program introduces students to the outstanding science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) doctoral programs at 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录. The program invites聽prospective applicants to 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录 during a weekend in the fall to learn about STEM doctoral opportunities, meet with faculty, tour research facilities and interact with current graduate students. Applicants for the program must be currently applying for admission into a STEM PhD program.
The goal of the program is to recruit a diverse pool of candidates into 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录鈥檚 STEM doctoral programs. All students whose participation would add to the diversity of 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录鈥檚 research community are invited to apply.聽 We especially聽encourage applications from individuals who come from populations that are underrepresented in STEM graduate education*, including but not limited to racial and ethnic minorities, individuals聽who are first-generation college students from low-income backgrounds, and students with disabilities.
*Groups severely underrepresented in STEM graduate education, as defined by the National Science Foundation, include African Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, American Indians/Alaska Natives that hold tribal membership, and Pacific Islanders (native peoples of Hawaii, Guam and Samoa).
