After graduating from Bard College with a BA in Writing, I sailed and built boats for a living for eight years – a great way to travel. Coming ashore, I began teaching classes on food production, culture and history, and fell in love with both teaching and food studies. This led me to eventually return to school at °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û2023¿ª½±¼Ç¼ for a graduate degree in Food Geography (MA completed, PhD in progress). After working for several years as a TA and Instructor in both Geography and the Program for Writing and Rhetoric, I’ve moved into Academic Advising. I love working with students!
Outside of work and studies, I enjoy gardening, films, hiking, cooking, and jewelry-making.
I stand with undocumented students, staff and their families.
