My research focuses on supermassive black hole binaries and the low-frequency gravitational waves they produce. I am a member of the North American Nanohertz Gravitational Wave Observatory (). NANOGrav is a pulsar timing array: a Galactic-scale gravitational wave observatory, which uses long-term, high-precision monitoring of millisecond pulsars to search for nanohertz-frequency gravitational waves.Ìý

Currently, I am working with Dr. Julie Comerford to combine electromagnetic observations of galaxy mergers with pulsar timing constraints on low-frequency gravitational waves to study the cosmic population of supermassive black hole binaries.ÌýBefore joining CU, I was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA.
