Maria D. Vazquez is from a small town in Zacatecas, Mexico and is currently a third year PhD student in the Spanish and Portuguese department focusing听on 20th听and 21st听Latin American Literature. Maria has been an educator听for over 10 years and has taught a variety of levels and ages, from middle school听to adult professionals, and from beginning levels of Spanish to heritage speakers. Maria has an awesome son and two cats, and enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, and of course, teaching!
