Brooke Neely听is research faculty at the Center of the American West at the 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录.听Her interdisciplinary research and teaching focuses on public history, community engagement, and belonging in the western United States.听She has worked and written at the nexus of U.S. national parks and tribal nations for nearly two decades, most recently serving as a Principal Investigator for two ongoing projects titled听Indigenous Connections at Rocky Mountain National Park听and听Native Peoples and the Zane Grey Museum听(Upper Delaware River NPS site).听

She is the听author (with Michelle Samura)听of听听in听Ethnic and Racial Studies听(2011).听She is an editor and contributor (with Christina Gish Hill and Matthew Hill) of the book听听(University of Oklahoma Press, March 2024).

She holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and听a B.A. in sociology from Whitman College. When not at the Center, she can be found running after her two daughters or enjoying a still moment with her husband.
