Kate received a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Colorado School of Mines. She is entering IQ Biology through the Department of Applied Mathematics. Kate听completed听her first lab rotation in Dr. Dan Larremore's听lab in the Department of Computer Science. She听completed听her second lab rotation with Dr. Nancy Rodriguez in the Department of Applied Mathematics. Kate听completed听her third lab rotation in Dr. Sara Sawyer's lab in the Department of Molecular, Cellular听and Developmental Biology. For her team听rotation, Kate worked with three other IQ Biology students on 'Team Virus' and Dr. Sawyer, Dr. Larremore and听Dr. Diamond were their advisors. Kate joined the Larremore lab in May 2020.听
