Megan is pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in education psychology at CU and is a graduate admissions coordinator at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. James is pursuing a master of business administration at Regis University and is an analyst at Charles Schwab.

Fairview High School graduates Brittany Horlbeck and听Zachary Miers听(ElEngr鈥07, MS鈥10) married in June. Brittany graduated from the University of Colorado Denver and is a teacher. Zachary is an electrical engineer. The couple resides in Louisville, Colo.

Poms & Associates Insurance Brokers announced in May that听Robert Pesavento听(Comm鈥07) will serve as vice president of business development in the Greenwood Village, Colo., office. He works with clients in aviation, construction, finance, manufacturing, national security, retail, technology and transportation. He has served as board member for the Denver Buff Club.

In May 2011听Christina Bojanowski听(Comm鈥08) moved to Los Angeles and has worked on multiple national commercials for the Tennis Channel, worked for TV shows broadcast on Bravo, TLC and the Food Network and served as an editor. Christina is a production coordinator for Food Network鈥檚听Cupcake Wars. She writes, 鈥淚 am humbled and blessed to be where I am thus far in my journey here in Hollywood.鈥

A founder of the Unreasonable Institute,听Daniel Epstein听(Phil鈥08) announced in spring a new program called Unreasonable at Sea. The program is for technology entrepreneurs who desire to take their ventures into new international markets. It is made up of teams that use technology to solve social and environmental challenges of this century, all while traveling on a ship to more than 14 countries in 100 days. Daniel lives in Boulder.

After graduating a semester early听Jamie Roberts听(Jour鈥11) moved to Quepos, Costa Rica, to become vice president of MidWorld Costa Rica, an adventure park nestled the country鈥檚 tropical jungle. She oversees the park, sometimes even working as a photographer on the ziplines or guiding tours. In her spare time she likes to travel to see the rest of the country with her camera. 鈥淚 believe in taking full advantage of everything Costa Rica has to offer, and it鈥檚 not uncommon to find me doing some crazy activity, like bungee jumping or waterfall rappelling,鈥 she writes. One of her photos appeared in the June听Coloradan听in the 鈥淟eafing through summer鈥 feature.

The summer after spring graduation听Andrew Tycksen听(MechEngr鈥12) went on a two-week mission trip to Cambodia to help a village that was previously settled on a minefield. He taught and played with children who attended a nearby school. Since returning from Cambodia, Andrew works as a mechanical engineer for Electric Equipment & Engineering. The company designs and builds power equipment for such telecommunication companies as Verizon and T-mobile. He lives in Arvada, Colo.

Following his May commission with the U.S. Marine Corps听Steven Gore听(CivEngr鈥12) will head to basic school training in January 2013. In the meantime he has traveled to England to visit family and will go to Peru to see Machu Picchu, Wyoming to climb and Nepal to hike near Annapurna.

Upon graduating in May, she served as interim assistant editor for the magazine for seven weeks.
