Maria works in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Computational Social Science. Before joining °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û2023¿ª½±¼Ç¼, she was aÌýpostdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research NYC. MariaÌýcompleted her PhD at Purdue University in the Department of Computer Science, and her BS in Computer Science & Engineering at the Universidad Simon BolivarÌýin her hometown of Caracas, Venezuela.
