Teaching Assistant Professor Susan Atkinson received the Art + Science + Action grant ($1,000) sponsored by the °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û2023¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Office for Outreach and Engagement and the Boulder County Arts Alliance. The grant funds ENVD student time and materials to produce posters for an exhibition of ENVD student work, along with travel expenses for recent ENVD grads to publicly present the work of our studio.
This fall, ENVD students and ´¡³Ù°ì¾±²Ô²õ´Ç²ÔÌýreceived an invitation to attend a statewide conference to represent ENVD at the CCI Leadership Summit in Salida, Colorado. Students will help share the process and products of their spring 2022 ARCH 4100 Capstone Studio, an interdisciplinary collaboration between ENVD architecture seniors, a Denver-based theater company, and Globeville/Elyria-Swansea neighborhood partners.

One of the most popular FYE events of the year! Looking to build and foster connections with upperclassmen? Needing assistance navigating college? The FYE mentors are here to connect and engage with you as you navigate key assignments to grow confidence in your deliverables and successfully take on a design degree.

Teaching Associate Professor Jade Polizzi and the FYE Mentors designed and painted a 7-foot by 7-foot photo-op backdrop the week before classes. The FYE program encourages all ENVD students to make friends with first-year students so they can visit Willard Hall to see it in person.
FYE activities are a great way to learn about ENVD, CU and Boulder while socializing with your peers. The Creative Labs Center offer hands-on training on many of the tools they offer encouraging all ENVD students to maximize their creative abilities.
