Graduate Research Assistantship in Effects Directed Toxico-Analysis of Industrial Wastewaters
Project: The Linden Research Group is a seeking a motivated M.S. student to determine the toxicity of oil and gas wastewater using in-vitro bioassays. Research topics include toxico-genomics, analytical chemistry, and characterization of oil and gas wastewater.
Qualification: B.S. in environmental engineering, microbiology, biology, chemistry, or closely related field. Competitive applicants will have some lab experience with microbiology (i.e., sterile technique), ability to learn quickly, demonstrated writing capabilities, and a desire to pursue research of industrial wastewater using both analytical and toxicological-based tools.
Compensation: Funding is guaranteed for 1 year as a research assistant. This includes a standard graduate student monthly stipend and tuition coverage.
