Our group is actively seeking highly motivated students to join our team and pursue a聽Ph.D. program within the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (ATOC), starting in the Fall of 2024.聽We also welcome postdoctoral candidates who have their own funding support聽or are in the process of applying for external research grants. My research interests mainly focus on聽using stable isotope analysis and analytical chemistry to:
- better constrain fluxes and processes in the contemporary carbon cycle;
- understanding the isotopic effect during important atmospheric chemistry processes, and
- exploring the interactions between the atmosphere, the biosphere, the hydrosphere, and humans.
To study these questions, we use a set of tools including field observations, laboratory experiments, and models.聽
