The Moon鈥檚 orbit isn鈥檛 circular, it鈥檚 more of an oval. It鈥檚 average distance from us is 238,855 miles. The Moon can be closer to us or much farther away (varying by as much as 30,000 miles!). When the Moon is full + closer in orbit, it looks A LOT larger and brighter. Can you see the difference?听
