The production Enterprise Database (EDB) service will undergo maintenance between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. This will impact services that are dependent upon the Enterprise Database, including the Federated Identity Service, and services that rely on it for logins, such as MyCUInfo, Buff Portal, Canvas, and many more (see Impact and Affected Services below). This maintenance is required to improve the EDB's security, stability and functionality.

Impact

Note to FM staff - this outage will impact AiM (ReADY/Go) and Unifier. These systems use the Federated Identity Service to authenticate. The Federated Identity Service will experience two outages of 5 to 15 minutes during the maintenance window. Anyone already connected during the two 5-15 min outages will be fine, but new connections during these two outages will not go through. 听We don't know when between 6am and 1pm will the two 5-15 minute outages will happen.

Other dependent services may also experience interruptions during the maintenance window (see Affected Services below). New courses and enrollments will be delayed until maintenance ends.
