Chris Ewing joins AASHE鈥檚 board of directors

Vice Chancellor for Infrastructure & Sustainability Chris Ewing has been elected to the  (AASHE). AASHE, the leading association for the advancement of sustainability in higher education, serves a full range of higher education faculty, administrators, staff and students who are change agents and drivers of sustainability innovation. Its board consists of faculty, staff or administrators and business leaders representing AASHE members. Congratulations, Chris!

Winter Bike to Work Day coming Feb. 9

Are you feeling stuck indoors due to the cold winter weather? Get outside and take a ride for Winter Bike to Work Day on Friday, Feb. 9! In the morning, stop by coffee-and-breakfast stations for a warm treat to help you on your commute. On your ride home, stop by a party station for a frosty and fun end to your day! If you鈥檙e working from home or are off on Feb. 9, you can still participate by taking a ride to the grocery store, a coffee shop or any other errand.

Call for Campus Sustainability Awards and CU Green Labs Program Awards nominations

The annual Campus Sustainability Awards celebrate individuals and departments that demonstrate a commitment to sustainability through innovative programs and initiatives that reduce resource use, enhance social equity and unity or promote a culture of sustainability at 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录. Awardees will be recognized on April 24 at the Campus Sustainability Awards luncheon. Nominations are due by March 15.

Reminder: use vacation leave by July 1, 2024

CU allows full-time staff to keep a maximum of 44 days (or 352 hours) of vacation within a fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). If you meet this maximum, you must either take or schedule vacation before June 30, or you will lose it. Double check your leave balances now, and make plans to use any hours of vacation time over the maximum allowable accrual time before the July 1 leave sweep deadline. As always, vacation leave requests are subject to the approval of your supervisor; don鈥檛 wait until June to put in your leave requests. If you have any questions regarding vacation leave, please contact your supervisor or Tanya Patzer.

Save April 24-25 for Campus Sustainability Summit

The 31st annual Campus Sustainability Summit invites faculty, staff and students to share, learn about and celebrate 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录鈥檚 wide array of sustainability leadership and accomplishments and the ways we have risen to the challenges and goals posed by the Campus Call to Climate Action

NEW Southwest Airlines promotion for CU employees

Campus recently announced a new employee promotion with Southwest Airlines. This promotion offering short-term A-List Preferred Status is available to university employees only when enrolled between Feb 1 and Feb 29. .

W2 forms have been mailed

All 2023 W-2s were sent to the mailing address employees have on file in the employee portal, and the 1095-C will be mailed by March 1 to employees eligible for health benefits last year. Both forms will be available in the shortly after they are released.
