Welcome to the Damrauer Group

The Damrauer group is located in the听Department of Chemistry听at the听.

We are generally interested in controlling photochemical and photophysical transformations with research that cuts broadly across traditional disciplines of physical chemistry, physical inorganic chemistry, and physical organic chemistry. We exploit听tools of听time-resolved spectroscopies听(femtoseconds to miliseconds),听synthesis, static electronic spectroscopies, electronic structure theory including applications to rate theories,听electrochemistry, and spectroscopies听exploiting pulse shapers (both adaptive quantum control and mutidimensional spectroscopies) to uncover how energy and charge flow in complex molecular systems following absorption of light.听
