Lily is听a recent graduate from Johns Hopkins University, obtaining degrees in Cognitive听Science and Applied Math.听 She听is a current master's student in Data Science with Johns Hopkins. Her research has focused on children's acquisition of complex symbolic systems, e.g., natural language and multi-digit numbers, via behavioral experiments, corpus analyses, and computational modeling.听听Specifically, she is exploring the structure and processing of multi-modal information in children's language learning environment that result in successful acquisition and communication. Lily is currently working on her master's thesis at the DEL Lab: the project听examines the learnability听of cross-linguistic number name systems by training deep learning models.听
