This is a planning calendar for use by CU听Boulder College of Music Graduate Office in scheduling comprehensive exams. If you have any questions, please contact Graduate Program Assistant Chris Martin.听

General Information

Comprehensive Exams may be scheduled in the semester prior to the planned exam. The schedule fills up quickly, so signing up early is strongly recommended!

All exams start on a Thursday and finish on the Tuesday of the following week (4 days) for all DMA and PHD students. We have 3 MAC computers, so three students can be scheduled for each week. There are no exams scheduled during Thanksgiving Break or Spring Break. Students who choose to schedule their written exams during the last couple available weeks will not be able to complete the oral portion of the Comprehensive Exams during that semester, and therefore will not become a candidate until the semester after both portions (written and oral) are passed.
