Dear Strategic Resources and Support team,Ìý
I am writing this month with an ask: As the new academic year begins, please keep the health and wellness of yourself and your colleagues top of mind. One way to do this is to attend the Sept. 13-14 Health and Wellness Summit, which will include a number of great learning opportunities for enhancing your health, well being and relationships.Ìý
Why staff health and wellness matters
Our mission on this campus is to fuel student success and innovative research, and the services and support all of you provide are absolutely vital to achieving these aims. Of course, first-class services and support are possible only if the people providing such care – you, our SRS team – achieve wellness.Ìý
As we work together to create a culture of wellness on our campus, we must be intentional about the ways in which we care for ourselves and support each other. These values are at the center of what the Health and Wellness Summit is about.

- SRS participation/tabling: In lieu of an SRS Expo this year, I’m asking each SRS unit to host a table or tables at the Employee Wellness Fair to showcase the ways in which you all support our campus and contribute to well-being. I will provide the leaders of each SRS unit with information on how to participate later this week.
- Mission: Wellness. So how do we integrate wellness with our mission? I am hosting a noon lunch session at the summit where I will expand more on this topic.Ìý
More news and notes around SRS

- Pulse survey: This month, on which channels are most useful for you in relaying key information like SRS strategic priorities.
Thank you all for everything you do to serve our students and university.
Sincerely,
Pat
