Dear Strategic Resources and Support team,
Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Sonia DeLuca Fern谩ndez and her team are quickly and positively impacting the coordination and execution of campus DEI efforts.
As one of the latest examples 鈥 and inspired by a recommendation of the IDEA Council 鈥 our campus DEI office has launched the Impact Grants program to provide seed funding support for new and existing DEI initiatives on our campus. I encourage anyone with an idea for your units or the campus as a whole to . The first proposal deadline is Jan. 17, with a second round of submissions due Feb. 13.
We often talk about the campus strategic imperatives of lead, innovate and impact, and the Impact Grants present an opportunity to advance all three at once. I am excited to see the ideas that emerge from the Impact Grants and how your own innovative spirit, collaboration and leadership move us toward a more equitable and inclusive future for SRS and our campus.

- SRS holiday gift: As a small token of my appreciation for your efforts this year, we鈥檒l be distributing CU Buffs picnic blankets to all SRS employees, with hopes that they鈥檒l make your recreation and relaxation outside of work cozier in the coming year. Individual units will distribute them at various get-togethers this month and in January.

I continue to be grateful for all you do, and wish you all rest and relaxation with your loved ones in this holiday season.
