Students run in the 2015 Nearly Naked Mile1.听When else can you run through campus in your underwear and get away with it?听Experience the chilly October air whipping your bare skin during this one-mile run.

2.听It鈥檚 for a good cause.听At last year鈥檚 race, the hundreds of student participants donated 1,540 articles of clothing to A Precious Child, a local nonprofit that supports disadvantaged and displaced children.

3.听Free food.听Who can turn down a postrace meal?

4.听It makes for a unique Friday night out.听Dancing to DJ-spun tunes in brisk听weather while wearing your skivvies is definitely a break from the routine.

5.听It鈥檚 a blast.听After winning the race last year, Joseph Crawford said: 鈥淭his was the best decision I鈥檝e made this year!鈥

This year鈥檚 race is Friday, Oct. 21 beginning at 8 p.m. at the Koenig Alumni Center. The race is neon-themed, so come in your brightest running costumes. Remember to bring any extra clothes you wish to donate to a child in need!
