Octobre is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

With October being Domestic Violence Awareness month, CU wants听to remind the听community of the听policies in place that prohibit this type of conduct.

Based on CU policy, intimate partner abuse (including domestic or dating violence) is defined as any act of violence or threatened act of violence against a person with whom the individual is or has been involved in a sexual or dating relationship. This includes threats, assault, property damage听and violence/threat of violence (either to one鈥檚 self or听family members) when used as a method of coercion, control, punishment, intimidation or revenge.
