The Rec offers plenty of opportunities to become an active Buff and get involved in our campus community.

Each month, The Rec Center showcases one Active Buff, a person in the 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录 community who is committed to promoting health and fitness. The Rec has highlighted a wide variety of people through the Active Buffs program鈥攆rom a triathlete to a graduate student鈥攚ho use the amazing array of resources to stay fit while broadening their horizons. Kelly, October's Active Buff, says, "Everyone is here for the same听reason, and doing anything at The Rec is better than doing nothing at home."听
A few things students can find at The Rec:
- the largest college rock climbing gym in the country
- attendants in each weight room who can show you how to properly use machines for the best results
- tents, maps and backpacks available to rent for weekend trips
- sign-ups for camping and backpacking trips
- plenty of space available to rent out for events if you are a member听of a club or organization
- a strong emphasis on community
