Since January听2016, more than 1,200 faculty and staff have attended the 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录 Police Department鈥檚 (CUPD)听听This series of classes has been offered to campus departments upon request.

On Wednesday, Feb. 8, CUPD will hold four class sessions specifically on Active Harmer Response for students, faculty and staff.

The free course, led by a CU police officer,听will introduce basic response options for an imminent harm situation.听The class will review basic statistical data on active harmer incidents and screen the 鈥淪hots Fired!鈥 video as a group. After watching the video, the class will discuss how to react if you ever find yourself in one of these situations.

Every effort is made to address concerns, dispel myths and develop response options. This course is designed as a reactive training on how to respond if an incident occurs, regardless of whether it occurs on campus or elsewhere.

Sessions will be offered Feb. 8 during the following times at听the University Memorial Center, room 235.

  • 8 to 9:30 a.m.
  • 10 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Noon to 1:30 p.m.
  • 2 to 3:30 p.m.
