Getting involved helps you discover interests and hobbies, find a close-knit community on campus and even explore different career paths. The Center for Student Involvement (CSI)听provides many ways to get involved on campus鈥攈ere are a few areas to help you get started.

Student organizations

Whether you are interested in politics, outdoor activities, artistic expression, social justice or athletic competition, there鈥檚 something for everyone. to explore student groups by topic or an alphabetical list, or attend the upcoming on Sept. 27 to meet student groups on campus.

Can鈥檛 find a group that matches your interests? Start an organization of your own! CSI is here to support student groups with the resources to plan events, raise funds and grow your organization.

Campus events

If you feel like you don鈥檛 have time to commit to a group right now, there are still ways you can get involved and meet new people. CSI hosts many events throughout the year, including I Love Mondays, Ralphie鈥檚 Cooking Basics, Buffalo Nites and programs through the Dennis Small Cultural Center. CSI events are free and open to all students.

Leadership development

Leadership experience is always something that looks great on a r茅sum茅! CU GOLD (Gaining Opportunities through Leadership Development) provides free leadership development opportunities to all students. Students can register for the Core Leadership Program, which consists of weekly seminars on a variety of leadership topics.

Fraternity and听sorority life
