The university purchased the 308-acre 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录 South property鈥攍ocated south and west of the junction of Table Mesa Drive and U.S. 36鈥攊n 1996 for future needs of the university. 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录, through its annexation application, is seeking the ability to develop 129 acres of the site, as well as an additional 30 acres for recreational fields.
If annexed, 80 acres of the site would be donated to the city to create improved flood mitigation and for city owned open space. While the university is not ready to develop the property, 澳门开奖结果2023开奖记录鈥檚 plans for the site would include building housing for university faculty, staff, graduate students and upper division undergraduates, along with some academic uses and recreational amenities.
The city and CU worked with Boulder County to approve changes to the 2015 Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update, which included new land use designations and guiding principles for the site.
