How does the College Opportunity Fund (COF) affect the Colorado resident tuition guarantee?

The guarantee applies to the student share of tuition or Tuition After COF. Even though total tuition (Tuition Before COF) may vary slightly during the guarantee period, the net tuition (Tuition After COF) will remain unchanged for four years. Colorado Resident Tuition Guarantee

Choosing a university is one of the most important decisions students and families will make. We are committed to providing the tools to make itÌýan easier decision by removing the financial uncertainty that comes from annual tuition and fee changes.ÌýThe purpose of this guarantee is to provide financial predictability for students and families. Specifically, the Undergraduate Tuition GuaranteeÌýallows students and families to count on the same rate of tuition and fees for four consecutive years. This enables Colorado families to plan for the entire four-year tuition and mandatory fee costs. The Tuition Guarantee places each studentÌýwithin a cohortÌýthat is defined by the date of entry to the university. Each cohort is guaranteed an unchanged tuition and mandatory fee schedule for four years.Ìý(Exception: students enrolled in dual degrees (bachelor's and master's) are charged the higher tuition rate.)
