Maggie L. McNulty is a PhD student in the History Department at the University of Colorado, Boulder. McNulty holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Drexel University and a master鈥檚 degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests explore the intersection of American environmental history and environmental justice by conducting oral histories. She uses storytelling as a method in which to examine the relationship between race, class, and toxic exposure. McNulty鈥檚 pursuit of a PhD in History comes from a deeply rooted belief that by studying the past, we can design a better future.
