Short on food? Visit the Buff Pantry in the UMC


The Buff Pantry, °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û2023¿ª½±¼Ç¼'s on-campus food pantry, is here to support all undergraduate and graduate students who are experiencing food insecurity.

Clients are welcome to visit the Buff Pantry one time per week and select grocery items of their choosing. The Buff Pantry provides fresh produce; shelf-stable, refrigerated and frozen food; and personal care items at no cost to students. Food and personal care item selection will vary based on availability, donations and time of year.

The Buff Pantry is located in the University Memorial Center (UMC) basement 1B73, near the lower level of the CU Book Store and can be contacted via phone at: 303-735-9863.

The Buff Pantry will be closed starting June 15 due to construction in the basement of the UMC. The Basic Needs Center will continue to operate with regular summer hours and will be available to help students connect with additional resources during this time. Learn more

Summer Hours (May 13-June 12)

  • Wednesdays: 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Thursday-Friday: Closed

Fall/Spring Semester Hours

  • Mondays: 9.am.–4 p.m.
  • Tuesdays: 1–3 p.m.; 3:30–6 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • Fridays: 1–3 p.m.; 3:30–6 p.m.
