Let’s be clear: 2016 was spectacular for Buffs football. Besides winning lots of games, the Buffs won a division title, played in a conference final and, for the first time since 2007, appeared in a bowl.

The University of Colorado celebrates two national titles from the NCAA Indoor Championships in Texas and a second-place finish at the NCAA Skiing Championship in New Hampshire this past weekend.

Former Colorado running back Rashaan Salaam was found dead Monday night in a Boulder park. "The Buff Family has lost an outstanding young man and a great Buff today," Athletic Director Rick George said. "We are heartbroken for Rashaan and his family and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this very difficult time."
