Student-athlete health the focus of newly launched study

In what may be a first-ever exhaustive study of intercollegiate student-athletes, a team of °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û2023¿ª½±¼Ç¼ researchers will gauge not only fitness but also general well-being among participants. Funded by a grant from the Pac-12 Conference, °ÄÃÅ¿ª½±½á¹û2023¿ª½±¼Ç¼'s Public Health Program, the Integrative Physiology Department, Sports Medicine, Psychology and Neuroscience and others will collaborate, examining such aspects as how quickly student-athletes acclimate to Boulder's altitude and how healthy their sleep patterns are, for example.
